Palamu: While on patrolling duty last night at about 1:30 am, SI Mr. Nakul Shah of Town Police station saw an unknown criminal using a pistol to extort money from a civilian travelling on a bike. Not caring for his own safety SI Mr. Nakul ran towards the criminal and managed to subdue him with the assistance of Ct Mr. Shivanand after a prolonged physical tussle.
SI Mr. Nakul and Ct Mr. Shivanand managed to recover a 7.65 mm pistol, 6 cartridges and a Scorpio. SI Mr. Nakul and Ct Mr. Shivanand are the true embodiment of what Palamu Police stands for.
