Shivamogga: In the late afternoon of February 5th, 2024, a coordinated effort spearheaded by a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) in Shivamogga District involved the deployment of teams comprising Police Inspectors (PIs), Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs), and supporting staff. Their mission was to undertake a comprehensive foot patrol initiative aimed at ensuring public safety and order.
Venturing into the bustling streets and alleys, these dedicated teams meticulously scanned their surroundings, keenly observing the activities of individuals and groups. Their vigilant eyes didn’t miss a beat, promptly identifying instances of suspicious behavior and disturbances causing public inconvenience.
As dusk settled and the night encroached, the efforts of these law enforcement units bore fruit. A total of 52 infractions, ranging from minor misdemeanors to instances of public nuisance, were documented and recorded. Each case represented a tangible step towards maintaining law and order within the community.
This proactive approach to policing not only serves as a deterrent to potential wrongdoers but also underscores the commitment of the authorities to uphold the peace and security of the citizens of Shivamogga District.
