Prayagraj: Under the leadership of DCP Deepak Bhukar, the police force embarked on an extensive patrolling operation throughout various neighborhoods within the old city of Prayagraj, where instances of disturbances have been historically documented. In anticipation of the upcoming polling scheduled for May 25th, officers meticulously traversed the streets and alleys of the old city on Wednesday, ensuring a heightened presence in sensitive areas. The patrol route encompassed key localities including Kareli, Khuldabad, Chakia, Kasari Masari, Rajruppur, Akbarpur, Himmatganj, and numerous others, reflecting a strategic approach to maintaining law and order.

Additionally, meticulous attention was paid to the logistics and accommodations for security personnel drafted from neighboring districts to fulfill their election duties. DCP Bhukar personally oversaw the arrangements, inspecting the facilities to ensure they met the required standards for the deployed forces. Upon completion of these assessments, he proceeded to the Kareli police station, where he conducted a thorough inspection of essential infrastructure such as the lockup and weapon storage areas. Directives and guidelines were imparted to the Station House Officer (SHO) to uphold operational efficiency and preparedness.
