Kolkata: Inspector Mr.Pallab Haldar, OC of Beleghata Traffic Guard, was patrolling the guard area this morning. At around 11 a.m., Constable Mr. Palash Kumar Dham, who was on duty at EM Bypass and NM Road Crossing, brought a young girl to him and said he, saw the girl wandering aimlessly. The suspect put him in a traffic kiosk. Inspector Mr. Pallab Haldar brought the girl to the traffic guard. After much questioning, the girl could not remember her home address. All that is known is that she is 11 years old she came with her sister last night, but that sister left her and left at night. Mr. Pallab Haldar handed over the girl child to Phulbagan police station. Necessary steps are being taken by the Phulbagan police station to return the child to her guardian.
