Dindigul: Santhosh (23) from Raghalapuram area of Dindigul district, Chanarpatti police station, Raghalapuram area, in the year 2021, sexually assaulted a girl by saying that he was in love with her. The police of Chanarpatti police station arrested him in a POCSO case and produced him in court and imprisoned him. In this case, as per the instructions of Dindigul District Superintendent of Police Mr. Bhaskaran IPS while the case was being held in the Dindigul High Court, Natham Saraga Police Station Inspector. Mr. Thangamunisamy, Chief Constable of Court Thangaselvi and Public Prosecutor Jyoti, on (14.9.2023) Dindigul High Court Magistrate convicted and sentenced the accused Santhosh to undergo 20 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1,000/- and gave the judgment.
