Uttarakhand: On 07.06.2021, the Gangotri National Highway near Sunagar Gangnani was blocked due to a landslide, for which the BRO along with the police and SDRF team was present on the spot. A pregnant woman who was in labor was on her way to Uttarkashi Hospital from Mukhwa village with her family members after the road was blocked. Due to which she and her family members were trapped there.
As soon as the police got the information, the Bhatwadi Police, SDRF team present on the spot and Digital Volunteer Rajesh Rawat of Uttarakhand Police got the said pregnant woman crossed from the landslide zone area and sent her to the district hospital Uttarkashi for treatment. The police and SDRF were thanked by the families of the pregnant woman.
