ABOHAR: A resident of Ranjeetpura in Jaipur district has been arrested and produced before the court for allegedly deceiving innocent people of Dugrana village. Police have identified him as Narinder Sharma. He is remanded in police custody till September 1. According to Police, Mr. Narinder claimed himself to be a major Surjit Singh Bajwa hailed from Ludhiana and had spent few months at the gaushala in Durgrana village after seeking some contributions. Man in disguise offered to serve cows at a gaushala in the village and allegedly had collected lakhs of rupees from people as donations. When the amount had been accumulated more than Rs 25 lakhs he vacated the place and taken away a Brezza car. With regard to this matter, Mr. Sushil Kumar Suthar of Raslana village had reported the case to police six weeks ago and police lodged an FIR against the culprit under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Based on the complaint, a special investigation team was deployed in order to deal with case.
