PATNA: Senior IAS officer and Staff Selection Commission Chairman Mr. Sudhir Kumar Bihar was arrested today in connection with the BSSC exam paper leak matter y the Bihar Police. Six people have been arrested so far in connection with the matter, Police said. Patna Police detained the Secretary of Bihar Staff Selection Commission Mr. Parmeshwar Ram after a Special Investigation Team (SIT) found convincing evidence against him at his residence. The Staff Selection Commission examination is conducted to appoint clerks in the state government and the first phase of exams were conducted on February 5. The questions were leaked on WhatsApp, an online chatting platform, immediately after the exam began at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Police said. Police earlier arrested 27 persons for allegedly possessing electronic devices meant for helping candidates in writing the paper for second phase of the examination. A similar scam of the Bihar School Examination Board toppers took place in Bihar last year in which Chairperson of BSEB Lalkeshwar Singh, Secretary and proprietor of an Intermediate college Bachha Rai had been arrested.]]>
