<![CDATA[Mumbai: The Manor police has arrested a man aged 62 on Monday for allegedly storing explosives illegally in his house. The police raided the residence of Pravin Adhikari (62) and found that he had been storing explosive materials. The explosives seized by the police are 201 white gelatin rods, 126 white gelatin rods, 39 electronic detonators and six bundles of safety fuse wire from his residence. Police Inspector Kiran Kabadi, Local Crime Branch, Palghar police said that Mr. Adhikari deals in industrial explosives and had a licence, but is only permitted to store them in his workplace, and not in his residence. He has been charged with negligent conduct with explosive substances under the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections of the Explosives Rules, 2008.]]>
