The police arrested Veeresh, 24, a plumber hailing from Naaguru village in Kalaburagi district, on the charge of killing a 6-year-old boy in Kolala police station limits. According to the police, Yashwant, son of Chandrashekar and Ramadevi, was found dead near Bedara Agrahara in Koratagere taluk of Tumakuru district on June 28. The boy, a class I student, had gone to school on that day, but did not return home. Veeresh, who allegedly was in an relationship with Ramadevi, went to the boy’s school in Bedara Agrahara and lured him with chocolates. He took the boy to a lonely placed and killed him. The mother,Mrs.Ramadevi filed a murder complaint with the Kolala police. Veeresh, who was absconding since June 28, was arrested in Tiptur, Tumakuru district on Wednesday.
