Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: A mysterious gang hacked to death Veerapathiran (from Mettupatti)—the prime accused in the murder case of ‘Bathroom’ Murugan—as he was returning after signing in at the Sanarpatti Police Station near Nochioidaipatti on Natham Road, Dindigul. Acting on the orders of Dindigul District SP Jayakumar, a special team led by Suburban ASP Manjima and City DSP Karthik conducted an intensive investigation. They arrested six individuals involved in the incident: Moorthy (47, son of Maruthai, from Nallampatti), Kumaresan (36, son of Vellaichamy), Balu (49, son of Thirupathi Naidu, from Koovanuthu), Naveenkumar (20, son of Jayaram, from East Marianathapuram), Sekar, and a 17-year-old minor.
