A special team of police from Whitefield on Thursday caught the rowdy Prashanth, who escaped from police custody on the pretext of attending a nature’s call in K.R. Puram on July 8. He was arrested from Chamundi Hills in Mysuru. Meanwhile, his family on Wednesday filed a habeas corpus in the High Court alleging that the police were trying to kill Prashanth in a fake encounter. Prashanth, who is involved in over 16 criminal cases, was arrested by the HAL police on the charge of attempt to murder from Kolar where he was was hiding.
