Rudrapur: A man on the hunt since Tuesday who had physically caused harm to a woman was finally arrested by police. Nankmatta police had documented a case against Gurbaj Singh on Tuesday for causing harm to a woman intentionally. He is the resident of Village Kalkatti in Gadarpur area. The lady, hailing from Village Devkali Thera made a complaint saying that the accused had intentionally caused hurt to her. Since then the police had been after him. Finally, the police traced his location and reached the spot. He was arrested in an encounter in Devkali Thera Village in Nanakmatta of Udham Singh Nagar District. Police have recovered two sophisticated guns and cartridges from his possession. Police have also booked a case against him for the accumulation of arm-ammunitions and physically harassing a woman.
