KOLKATA: The video of a neighbor enabled police to recover the dead body of a woman with throat slit that was dumped in roadside. Following which, police arrested the duo culprits. The deceased was aged 47. The video recorded by a neighbor showed that the duo had dragged the dead body of the woman in a trolley bag in the early morning and dumped it in a by lane on Sunday. During the interrogation, the daughter of a deceased admitted that her husband was involved too in the gruesome crime. She also confessed that the deceased was against the life style of the duo which resulted frequent quarrels. On Saturday night, when the deceased’s husband was not present at home again a ferocious argument had taken place. Accordingly, the duo killed the woman with a knife. During the investigation police recovered a knife and clothes stained with blood hid beneath a bed. Besides, police also found the carcass of a pet in the deceased’s flat. Police have detained both daughter of the deceased and son-in-law for murder. ]]>
