Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu: Police conducted surprise raids yesterday on shops and residences occupied by migrant workers from North India in areas including Hosur SIPCOT, Mookandapalli, Bedarapalli, and Begepalli. Acting on a tip-off regarding the smuggling of narcotics from North Indian states, three special police teams carried out intensive searches across more than 200 locations. Police reported the seizure of approximately 3 kilograms of narcotics during the operation. The incident has sparked a stir in the Hosur area as the investigation intensifies.
