Tirunelveli: The Thachanallur police, acting on a tip-off, discovered that a house in Chidambara Nagar near Thachanallur, Tirunelveli, was storing Gutka. Led by Inspector Muthu Ganesh, the police conducted a search and found around 265 kg of Gutka hidden in bundles. During the operation, they apprehended Deepakumar (24) from Lalukapuram, Tirunelveli. Upon interrogation, it was revealed that Sandeep Kumar (27) of Ms Amman Koil Street, Sindhupoonthura, along with accomplices Om Prakash (27) and Bharat Singh (45), all from Rajasthan, were involved in storing Gutka for sale. The police arrested all four individuals.
