Simdega: The BKP Maoist surrounded the Bansjore OP of Simdega district on 02.01.2008 at around 11 P.M and started firing on the police force. Even though there was a small number of the police force deployed on the OP the police team kept the pressure on the militants and killed many of them.
During the shootout, Simdega District Force’s constable Mr.Sunil Kumar showed the valor as he presented the royal bravery. He succumbed to the injuries during the incident and gave his life for the country. The entire Jharkhand Police salutes this supreme sacrifice. Your valor will always be our inspiration.
