Kalaburagi, Karnataka: In a proactive crime prevention initiative, Jewargi Police conducted early morning raids on the residences of rowdy sheeters and habitual offenders within the jurisdiction of Jewargi Police Station to maintain law and order and deter criminal activities.
The operation was led by the Circle Police Inspector (CPI), Jewargi Circle, as part of continuous efforts to monitor the movements and activities of known offenders. During the raids, police verified the presence of the rowdy sheeters, reviewed their activities, and reinforced surveillance over individuals with a history of repeated criminal involvement.
The offenders were firmly warned against engaging in any unlawful activities and informed that strict legal action would be taken if they violated the law or disturbed public peace.
The initiative demonstrates the police department’s preventive policing strategy, aimed at discouraging habitual offenders, enhancing public safety, and maintaining a peaceful environment through regular monitoring and timely intervention.
