Bhopal: Police have registered a case against Mohammad Zaid Rashid under the Information Technology Act and for promoting social discord. Police initiated the investigation according to the complaint made by the former Aligarh Muslim University students when the objectionable poster on Prime Minister Modi went viral on social media. The objectionable poster on Prime Minister Modi carried recently by anti-India protester in London due to the removal of the special status to Jammu and Kashmir. On Facebook page of Rashid same poster was found to be uploaded upon which his friends made a complaint to the police. Following the information, police traced the local address of the youth and reached his residential city Hamdard Nagar. But they discovered that the youth had been admitted to the off-campus centre in Bihar. Police had also registered an FIR against him. And later he was arrested. Police have taken him into custody for further interrogation following which the legal action would be taken against him said Senior Superintendent of Police. ]]>
