Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu: An awareness camp regarding POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) and the dangers of drug abuse was conducted for students at the renowned S.M.S.V. Girls’ Higher Secondary School, located behind Sathyam Theatre within the Karaikudi subdivision of Sivaganga district. The event was organized under the orders of Sivaganga District Superintendent of Police Dr. Siva Prasad and the supervision of Karaikudi Sub-Divisional Assistant Superintendent of Police Ashish Punia (IPS). It was led by Inspector Saravanan of the Karaikudi South Police Station, with Sub-Inspector Sabitha Sri in attendance, and conducted by First-Grade Constable Prabhu of the same station.
