Concerned for his well-being, the officers approached the boy to assess his condition and gather any information that might help identify him. Upon speaking with him, they learned that he was from Vizianagaram, though he was unable to provide additional details about his situation.
The officers promptly initiated efforts to locate and contact his family, verifying his background to ensure his safe return. After successful coordination, his family members were contacted and invited to the station, where they confirmed his identity. The young boy was then reunited with his loved ones, bringing relief to his family.
Following this compassionate and diligent action, Dr. Shankhabrata Bagchi, IPS, Commissioner of Police, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Third Town police personnel for their attentive and professional response in ensuring the boy’s safety and well-being.
