KGF, Karnataka: Police officials participated in a beat meeting organized in Keelukuppa village under the limits of Boodikote Police Station and interacted with villagers to understand and address their grievances
During the meeting, awareness was created about the “Locked House Beat System,” Aasare Scheme, dangers of drug addiction, traffic rule compliance, cybercrime prevention, prevention of child marriage, chain snatching prevention, and emergency helplines 112 and 1930. Officials also educated the public about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act).
The meeting was attended by the DySP, CPI Kamasamudra, PI Bangarpet, and PSI Boodikote, reflecting the department’s continued efforts toward community policing and public safety awareness.
