At the helm of security preparations, Punjab’s esteemed Special Director General of Police (Law and Order), Mr. Arpit Shukla, assumed the role of spokesperson during a media briefing convened within the precincts of the stadium. With meticulous attention to detail, Shukla emphasized that the security apparatus for this landmark event shall be spearheaded by a seasoned DIG-level officer, underscoring the gravity of the occasion.

Mr. Shukla’s presence on-site was not merely symbolic; rather, it signified a proactive stance towards ensuring the seamless execution of security protocols. In his address, he sought to assuage any apprehensions by affirming the comprehensive security measures enacted for the match. He underscored the pivotal role of Mohali’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in orchestrating stringent security protocols while also orchestrating efficient traffic management to mitigate inconvenience to local denizens.

Furthermore, Mr. Shukla assured that meticulous planning had been undertaken to cater to the parking needs of attendees, thereby averting potential logistical quandaries. He elaborated that the finalization of traffic routes and plans would necessitate the diversion of certain thoroughfares to optimize the flow of vehicular movement.

Drawing a favorable comparison between Mullanpur Stadium’s capacity and its counterpart in Mohali PCA Stadium, Shukla exuded confidence in the seamless management of the anticipated throngs, buoyed by the superior facilities offered by the former.

In a coordinated effort, Mohali SSP Mr. Sandeep Garg, along with SP Rural Mr. Manpreet Singh and SP Headquarters Mr. Tushar Gupta, briefed Shukla on the intricacies of the security apparatus meticulously woven around the stadium precincts, underscoring their collective commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
