Mysuru, Karnataka: In a commendable community outreach initiative, the Akka Pade team of Yalandur Police conducted an awareness program for students on 27.03.2026.
During the session, students were educated about important laws including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Child Marriage Act, and various aspects of cybercrime. The team also created awareness about key helpline services such as Women’s Helpline 181, Children’s Helpline 1098, and Emergency Helpline 112.
This proactive effort by the police highlights their commitment to empowering students with legal knowledge, promoting safety, and encouraging responsible use of support systems for a secure and informed society.
