A police case has been registered regarding the murder of a 35-year-old resident of Sarai Alwardi village in Gurgaon identified as Mahesh Yadav who was shot early Wednesday morning around 6.45 am, near the Bajghera railway crossing while returning home after dropping his kid at school. According to Mr. Subhash Boken, PRO of Gurgaon police, two men arrived in a Scorpio car and opened fire on him. The Government Railway Police (GRP), is investigating the matter as it falls under their jurisdiction, said Mr. Boken. Mr. Pawan Yadav, Station House Officer (SHO) of the GRP police station, Gurgaon, said that preliminary investigations are going on and it appears to be a case of personal enemity. The deceased was engaged in real estate business, said the police. His relatives and residents of the village staged a demonstration at the railway crossing for about an hour by blocking the tracks and demanding for justice after the incident.
