Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: In a compassionate welfare initiative, the “2009 Batch Police Helping Hearts” group extended financial assistance amounting to ₹24,86,394 to the family of late police constable Panneerselvam, who passed away while in service on December 9, 2025.
The support was provided through contributions collected by 2009-batch police personnel across Tamil Nadu to assist families of deceased police officers. District coordinators and administrators from Dindigul played an active role in organizing and disbursing the aid.
The financial assistance was formally handed over to the bereaved family on May 20, 2026, reflecting the solidarity, compassion, and welfare commitment shared among police personnel.
