Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: Inspector Lingapandian and police personnel at the Oddanchatram Police Station in Dindigul district conducted an awareness drive for pharmacy owners from the Oddanchatram town and union areas. They warned that the sale of narcotic pills is prohibited and that strict action would be taken against any violations. They also instructed that medicines must not be dispensed without a valid doctor’s prescription and urged the owners to identify and report to the police any individuals seeking illegal drugs.
