Nilgiris: Nilgiris Gothagiri Coimbatore Zonal Office of Indian Standardization and Kothagiri Blue Mountain Consumer Protection Association, Tamil Nadu Department of Food Safety and Drug Administration conducted a training camp at Kothagiri on behalf of Consumers Union President Vasudevan. Secretary Rajan welcomed everyone. Kothagiri Municipal President Jayakumari inaugurated the camp.
Jayaraman from Coimbatore, Indian Standardization Organization Development Officer Rajeev, Nominating Officer Suresh, Assistant Inspector Kothagiri Police Mr. Shanmugavel, spoke. Then the seal given by the Government of India for quality products and how to determine the quality of the products were explained. The public was advised to check for quality products, check whether they have the appropriate seal and buy them. A large number of people including students and traders association executives participated in the camp. In the end, Additional Secretary Mohammad Salim gave vote of thanks.
