Chengalpattu: Under the guidance of Dr. Kannan IPS, the esteemed Chief of Police of Chengalpattu North Zone, and with the support of Mr. Pagalavan IPS, the diligent Deputy Superintendent of Police in Kanchipuram, a meticulous prohibition hunt was carried out in Odiyur village, which falls within the jurisdiction of Seyyur police station. This operation was executed under the watchful supervision of Mr. Sai Praneeth IPS, the District Superintendent of Police in Chengalpattu.
The prohibition hunt, conducted from 10:45 am to 1:00 pm on the 11th of June, 2023, was orchestrated with the assistance of a highly capable drone. Accompanying the drone were an inspector and five diligent constables from the local police force. Regrettably, no items of illegal nature were seized during this specific raid. However, it is important to note that the authorities have resolved to maintain this unwavering pursuit of justice in the days to come.
To ensure the success of this ongoing operation, the general public is earnestly urged to report any information pertaining to the movement or presence of bootleg liquor within their respective areas. The Superintendent of Police has designated dedicated contact numbers, namely 72001 02104 and 90427 81756, which can be utilized for reporting such crucial information via WhatsApp or SMS. Rest assured, appropriate measures will be taken against those engaging in criminal activities, and the confidentiality of informants will be strictly safeguarded, thus encouraging a secure and cooperative environment.
