Rachakonda: On Thursday, Rachakonda CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS has instructed all the officials of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate to perform better in providing services to the citizens in the seminar “Sensitization of Rachakonda Police on 17 Verticals” held at IICT, Tarnaka.
Speaking on the occasion, CP has stated the prime responsibility of any Police is to protect the citizens from all sorts of problems and injustice they face in the society. CP uttered that the Police works round the clock tirelessly to keep the society peaceful and directed the staff to adhere to the structure mentioned in the Functional Verticals while performing responsibilities. “Several reforms have been inducted in the Police department to provide error free services to the citizens and many initiatives have helped the citizens to step in to police stations seeking justice without any fear”, CP added. CP reminded that over a period of years many changes were brought in the work structure of the Police wings to meet the requirements of the society which resulted in keeping the crime rate under control. CP mentioned that all the key performers who are delivering best services will be rewarded soon to encourage them to perform better. CP instructed the staff to be a good Police and dedicate themselves for the service of society.
Addressing the gathering Additional DCP Mr. Satyanarayana stated that the peace and communal harmony in the society is in the right way since the Police provide their services round the clock to the society. He opined that the Police are the first responder to the citizens to provide immediate possible justice within the legal frame work. He stated that the legal process becomes easier if Police respond in a proper and in an amicable way to the victim who approaches the Police seeking justice. He mentioned that the system of Functional Verticals was introduced in the year 2015 in Hyderabad which was later inducted across the state in the year 2018 as it brought good results. He directed the staff to stick to the responsibilities assigned to them as mentioned in the Functional Verticals which makes policing easier. He opined that the role of every Police is crucial and every step in the legal process plays a vital role in providing justice to the victim. He instructed the staff to improve their skills and perform better to deliver good results.
