Rachakonda: Acting on specific information, the sleuths of Special Operations Team (SOT), LB Nagar Zone team along with Malkajgiri police busted an interstate drug syndicate by apprehending four interstate drug peddlers namely Fayyum(26), Junaid(26), Sarikh(22) and Mohd. Nazim(24) and seized 52 Kilograms of Contraband Narcotic Substance, Ganja, 1 Litre Contraband Narcotic Substance, Hash Oil, Net Cash Rs.750/- and Four Mobile Phones all worth Rs.12,80,750/- from their possession. Imran(50), Ganja Peddler is the receiver and Vijay(25) is the supplier.
A case was registered of NDPS Amendment Act 2001 of Malkajgiri Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
The Police seized 6 bags (Travel & Backpacks) containing 26 packets, each packet containing 2 Kilograms of Ganja weighing 52 Kilograms, Hash Oil 1 Liter having 25 bottles containing 40 ml each, Net Cash Rs.750/- and 4 Mobile Phones.
On 06-04-2022, on credible information the sleuths of Special Operations Team, LB Nagar Zone Team along with Malkajgiri police nabbed four accused persons who are indulged in procuring Ganja & Hash Oil and transport the same to Delhi through Gareebrath Train. The accused Vijay, purchases Ganja from the agency areas Le.. Chintapalli, Padeuru etc., Vishakapatnam district at lower price and gets the Ganja packed in air tied plastic covers and keeps them in travelling bags and illegally transporting to Delhi through hired agents. Another accused Imran purchases the same from Vijay and send his agents for collection of Ganja from Vijay at Vizag. Sometimes Imran also personally makes visits to Vizag for collection of material.
Imran received positive signals from Vijay, then he hired Fayyum, Junaid, Sarikh and Mohd. Nazim all residents of Ghaziabad and booked train tickets to Vizag from New Delhi and sent them for collection of Ganja from Vijay. As per the instructions of the Imran all the above respondents boarded the train on 3.4.2022 and got down at Vizag on 5.4.2022 and stayed in the local lodge. The engaged workers collected the Ganja & Hash Oil from Vijay pack in luggage bags and boarded the Garibrath Express train at Duvvada Railway Station of Vishakapatnam district on 5.4.2022 at 2030 hours. On the following day, 6.4.2022 at 0830 hours they got down at Moula-Ali Railway Station due to Police checking at Secunderabad railway station. They stayed in Moula-Ali Railway station premises up to 8 PM. Then they planned to go to Delhi in Dakshin Express from Secunderabad to New Delhi at 2300 hours. Accordingly, they started from Moula-Ali Railway station to Secunderabad railway station by bus, when they reached at ZTS X Roads (Chourastha) of Moula-Ali, Malkajgiri mean time SOT LB Nagar Zone team and Malkajgiri Police apprehend four accused persons along with Ganja, Hash Oil and Mobile Phones.
During the interrogation, it came to know that, the accused Imran is purchasing each KG of Ganja per Rs.2.500/- to Rs. 3.000/- Mr. Vijay and selling the same to the needy agents and customers for Rs.18.000/- to Rs. 20,000/- per kg and the Hash Oil for Rs.70,000/- per litre and selling the same for Rs. 2,00,000/- per litre. Mr. Vijay gets Rs. 1,000/- per KG of Ganja and 10,000/- commission for one liter Hash Oil as his commission.
The accused person adopted an organized and sophisticated method of supplying Ganja and Hash Oil through AC Railway coaches. If noticed any involvement of other state gangs in the contraband drug transporting / supplying cases, stringent action will be taken and PD act will be imposed against such offenders.
On 6.4.2022 at 2030 hours on credible information the sleuths of SOT LB Nagar Zone Team and Malkajgiri Police apprehend the accused persons at ZTS X roads of Moula-Ali, Malkajgiri along with Ganja, Hash Oil and Mobile Phones.

Anji Reddy, Inspector of Police, SOT-LB Nagar Zone, Mr. B. Jagadeeshwara Rao, Inspector of Police, Malkajgiri police station, Sub Inspectors Mr. K. Prathap Reddy, Mr. A.A. Raju, Mr. Md. Thakiuddin, and staff of SOT, LB Nagar zone, Rachakonda.
