A four-year old boy who was allegedly subjected to torture by four persons, who blew ganja smoke on his face on Saturday, is undergoing treatment at the Government Stanley Hospital. The boy was playing outside his grandfather’s house, when his neighbour Ramesh, and a few of his friends blew ganja smoke on his face. “Seeing this, his grandfather, a daily wage earner, and his mother picked up a quarrel with Ramesh, which turned into a fistfight,” said a senior police officer from Washermanpet division. Ramesh got himself admitted to the Stanely Medical College Hospital. “We have detained Ramesh for enquiry,” said a police officer. Police suspect that a property dispute was the reason behind the entire incident.
