Rachakonda: On Friday, 18th February, the newly constructed building of Thurkapally Police Station of Yadadri Bhongir district has been inaugurated by Mr. Guntakandla Jagadeesh Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Energy, Telangana, in the presence of Mrs. Gongidi Sunitha Mahender Reddy, MLA Alair constituency and Hon,ble Govt. Whip Telangana state, Police Housing Chairman Koleti Damodar, MLC Krishna Reddy, ZP Chairman Sandip Reddy, and Rachakonda CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the chief guest of honor, Mr. Guntakandla Jagadeesh Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Energy, presided over the meeting and stated that the state government is taking up all initiatives to provide safety and security to the citizens of the state in all possible ways. He expressed his happiness over inaugurating the new Police Station building and said that Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. K.Chandra Shekhar Rao is striving hard to develop the state in multiple sectors by bringing numerous best policies and schemes which cater to various sectors of people in the state.
Keeping the security of the citizens in the state is the top priority, the government is establishing new Police Stations buildings across the state wherever it is required, he added. He mentioned that Telangana Police are working tirelessly to safeguard the people and lauded the efforts of Rachakonda CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS for keeping the society peaceful. He specially mentioned the efforts of the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate during the first and second waves of the Pandemic and commended for saving the lives of many people. He stated that with the continuous efforts of the Police, the crime rate is going down in the state considerably.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Mrs. Gongidi Sunitha stated that Law and Order plays a vital role in the internal peace of the society which ultimately impacts the overall development of the country. She stated that Police Stations are very crucial as they are the primary spots for common people to acquire justice. She reminded that the smart policing policies of Telanagana and Rachakonda Police brought the crime rate down in the state and commended CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS for the special initiatives taken up for the protection of women and children.
Addressing the gathering, CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS has stated that Police are the first ones who protect the rights of the citizens and provide immediate justice to the victims. He said that the new Police Station building is constructed at a cost of Rs.1 Cr with a built-up area of 1043 Sq ft. He stated that all the new buildings which are to be set up are well planned and will be provided with required facilities for the women police officers, visitors, and the staff. He said that Thurkapally Police Station located in the distance of 18 KM from Bhongir provides services to the people of 31 villages. CP mentioned that the state government is supporting the Police department well and providing varied allowances to the Police working in different wings. He uttered that Rachakonda Police Commissionerate is following varied smart policing methods to provide better safety and security services to the citizens.
He mentioned that Telangana Police ranked top in the country by the numerous smart policing techniques including community CCTVs, SHE Teams, awareness programs through Kalabrundam Cultural teams, etc. He mentioned that numerous advanced smart policing methods are adopted by Rachakonda Police that affected the crime rate to witness a decline. He opined that Police deserve good facilities as they work round the clock to provide the best services to the victims who step into the Police Stations seeking justice. CP reiterated that the Rachakonda Police worked tirelessly during the Pandemic and saved many lives and commended the staff. Yadadri District Collector Pamela Satpathy, IAS, DCP Mr. K. Narayana Reddy IPS, Police Housing Corporation Chairman, Mr. Koleti Damodar Guptha, Mr. EE Sayed Abdul Quddus, DEE M. Sundar, AEE P. Balraj, Addl. DCPs Mr. Shameer, Mr. Bhaskar, Mr. Laxminarayana, ACPs Mr. K. Narasimha Reddy, Mr. Shankar, public representatives of the constituency, and other officers of Rachakonda Commissionerate have attended the ceremony.
