Imphal West, Manipur: In a decisive action against anti-social and extremist activities, Security Forces successfully apprehended an active extortionist of the banned outfit UNLF (K) on 02.12.2025.
The arrested individual has been identified as Laishram Pronanjit Singh @ Jit @ Thondonba (25), a resident of Sagolband Tera Loukrakpam Leikai, Imphal West District. He was arrested during a well-coordinated operation carried out at Uripok Yambem Leikai, under the jurisdiction of Imphal Police Station, Imphal West District.
During the arrest, Security Forces also seized a mobile phone, believed to have been used for extortion-related activities.
