Tamil Nadu, Thoothukudi: The Sri Karkuvel Ayyanar Temple Kallar Vettu Festival is being planned to be celebrated in Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi district on 15.12.2025. In preparation for the event, Thoothukudi District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Albert John, I.P.S., personally visited the Therikudiyiruppu area on the same day. He reviewed the security arrangements at the Karkuvel Ayyanar Temple complex and its surrounding areas, as well as assessed the basic facilities available for the public. He also provided guidance to the police personnel on duty. The inspection was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi Headquarters, Mr. Arumugam, along with Deputy Superintendents of Police, Tiruchendur Utkota, Mr. Maheshkumar, and Srivaikuntam Utkota, Mr. Ramakrishnan, and other police officials.
