Tirunelveli: An awareness program was conducted at Cauvery Hospital, Tirunelveli, by Inspector of Police Antony Jagada from the All Women Police Station, Tirunelveli Town. The session was aimed at educating women doctors and nurses on how to protect themselves from sexual harassment and violence. She also provided guidance on using the SOS Kavalan service offered by the police department in emergency situations. In addition, she clearly explained the legal actions that would be taken under Section 376 of the IPC. She urged women to come forward and file complaints against perpetrators of harassment without hesitation.
