Bathinda: In a significant breakthrough, Counter-Intelligence, along with Bathinda District Police, has apprehended three operatives affiliated with Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), who were responsible for inscribing Pro-Khalistan slogans at various public locations, including Bathinda, Punjab, and Delhi. The mastermind behind these activities, Gurpatwant Pannu of SFJ based in New York, has also been implicated.
On April 27, 2024, Pro-Khalistani slogans were found on the walls of the District Administrative Complex and Court Complex in Bathinda. Similarly, on May 9, 2024, such slogans were discovered at Jhandewalan Metro Station and Karol Bagh Metro Station in Delhi, with evidence indicating their communication with Gurpatwant Singh Pannu through photos and videos. The investigation has been conducted meticulously and with modern forensic techniques to resolve the case. The Punjab Police remains wholly dedicated to upholding peace and fostering harmony within the state.
