Rachakonda: Education Minister Ms. Sabita Indra Reddy madam has inaugurated training center for tailoring classes to vulnerable women from minorities at Pahadisheriff Police station. Innovative program initiated by Rachakonda Commissionerate in collaboration with Rachakonda Security Council (RKSC) and District Rural development Agency Rangareddy District.

RKSC, commenced livelihood means for Women at Phadishareef under the able guidance and leadership of Commissioner of Police Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS.
A detailed survey in Pahadishareef and Balapur paved its way to the SHE ERA initiative. The survey gave a complete insight of the requirement of that area.
On Tuesday, 4th October, Mrs, Sabitha Indra Reddy Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Government of Telangana has inaugurated a Skill Development Program for women “SHE ERA”* (Empowering Rural Aspirants), a training program in tailoring which has been organized by Rachakonda Police in collaboration with Rachakonda Security Council (RKSC) and DRDA in the limits of Pahadishareef Police station to provide means of livelihood and provide financial stability to the women in and around Pahadishareef.
This program aims at empowering and providing skills that give employability to women and to provide competencies that enable them to become self-employed and entrepreneurs.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest, Hon’ble minister Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy has presided over the meeting and stated that she will extend her complete support towards progressive society specific to women. She expressed her happiness to see this part of the city making its way to join the mainstream of the society and reassured her complete support.
Addressing the gathering CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS has stated that issue has to be eradicated at the grass root level and such self-enablement programs will build confidence and enable their earning capabilities and be self-dependent.
In the limits of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate at Pahadishareef and Balapur areas, most of the people remained below poverty line thereby leading to several social vices. The financial crisis of these poor women, triggering them to incline towards involving in unlawful activities for monetary benefits and end up as victims of child selling, contract marriages, child abuse cases etc., which ultimately ruins the future of the families completely. SHE ERA is one such initiative under Rachakonda limits which will enable the Women to self-resilient and be Financialy Independent.
The free tailoring training program “SHE ERA” is intended to support the poor unemployed women to get over the financial hurdles they face and to uplift them. Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has collaborated with District Rural Development Agency (Ranga Reddy District) for this training and 50 women are going to utilize the opportunity in the first batch of training. The training will be imparted for two months which is inclusive of both classroom sessions and hands on training followed by an examination by DRDA before providing the certification. Shahi Exports Private Limited has extended their support by providing a dedicated tutor to training the aspirants.
Ms. Shaik Saleema IPS, DCP SHE Teams, was the backbone behind this initiative. She motivated all the Women to follow discipline and utilize the golden opportunity to aim high become successful.
Mr. Satish Vadlamani, General Secretary RKSC, mentioned such initiatives will go long way in the development of society breaking biases empowering individuals with skill and knowledge making them self-resilient, financial Independent and sustainable. RKSC mission and object is to take everyone together and empower, make them aware and develop and grow. He also requested the women to take this as opportunity to up skill themselves and grow and RKSC will continue to invest and support for this cause as at all times.
Padmashree awardee Dr. Sunita Krishnan Co-Founder of Prajwala graced the occasion and motivated the women to avail the opportunity and enhance their skill and March towards development.

50 women will be trained for 2 months and certificate will be given by DRDA Rangareddy District.
