Chennai: The Commissioner of Chennai Metropolitan Police has launched the telecast of educational programs through Smart TV in Chennai Metropolitan Police Juvenile and Girls Forums under the Nirbhaya Funded Skill Development Programme. Through this, the platform will ensure that 112 Police Juvenile Forums in Chennai Metropolis will be equipped with smart TVs and provided with internet connectivity to enrich their knowledge and motivate them. This will help to prevent marginalized juveniles from engaging in criminal activities.
