Meanwhile, some of the content in social media were reported to be objectionable and the cyber cell of the Delhi police has got in touch with the social networking companies and have asked them to deactivate 50 such accounts as these were responsible for spreading rumors during the protest against amended Citizenship Act (CAA) in the Capital, said a police officer on Thursday. The details of the accounts that need to be removed were sent to the Social Media Companies by the Police.
