Bengaluru City: On July 8th, 2024, Bengaluru City Police undertook a focused operation aimed at addressing the issue of motorists using high beam and dazzle LED lights, particularly in the pre-traffic zones. During this targeted effort, law enforcement authorities meticulously inspected 111 vehicles. As a consequence of these inspections, they identified and registered over 30 cases of violations related to improper lighting. The operation resulted in the imposition of fines amounting to Rs. 16,500/-. This initiative underscores the city’s commitment to enforcing road safety regulations and ensuring a safer driving environment for all residents.
