Bidar: In accordance with the instructions provided by their superiors, a joint operation was carried out by law enforcement officials in Bidar. Mr. Hanumaredappa, the esteemed officer of Gandhiganja Police Station in Bidar City, collaborated with Mr. Gurupadappa Biradara, the Circle Police Inspector of Bhalki Rural Circle, and Mr. Chandrasekhar, the Police Sub-Inspector of Kushanur Police Station, along with their dedicated teams. The objective of this operation was to crack down on individuals engaged in speed gambling activities openly conducted in public places within the jurisdiction of their respective police stations.
During the well-coordinated operation, the diligent law enforcement team successfully apprehended several suspects involved in the illegal gambling activities. Subsequently, a thorough search of the suspects and their immediate surroundings was conducted. This search led to the discovery and subsequent confiscation of a significant amount of cash totaling Rs.44,960/-, believed to be proceeds from the illicit gambling activities. Additionally, the team also seized several ISPET leaves, which were allegedly being used by the accused persons to facilitate their unlawful operations.
To ensure the legal consequences of their actions, cases were promptly registered against the accused individuals at their respective police stations.
