Karnataka, Tumkur: A prestigious state-level athletic games event for pre-graduate colleges was launched at the Mahatma Gandhi Stadium in Tumkur, with Karnataka’s Home Minister and Tumkur District In-charge Minister presiding over the inauguration ceremony. The event marked a significant gathering of educational and administrative officials from the region.
The launch program was attended by several distinguished guests, including Tumkur City MLA Jyoti Ganesh, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officers, the Metropolitan Corporation Commissioner, and the District Superintendent of Police. Dr. Bala Gurumurthy, Deputy Director of the Undergraduate Education Department, was also present at the ceremony, highlighting the event’s importance in promoting athletics at the pre-graduate college level across Karnataka.
