Madurai: Alankanallur Sub-Inspector Mr. Meenakshi Sundaram arrested five persons for illegally selling ganja during the raid. Also, a case was registered in the police station in connection with this and the accused was arrested. Ganjas weighing 21kg 500gm and two wheeler, cell phones were seized also, Madurai District Superintendent of Police has warned that strict action will be taken against those involved in the illegal sale of ganja, hoarders and smugglers in Madurai district.
