Surat City, Gujarat: In a significant achievement during a special drive to trace absconding offenders, Sachin Police of Surat City successfully apprehended Manish alias Mukesh Kanjibhai Tandel, who had been evading arrest for the past 15 years.
The accused was wanted under a court warrant issued under Section 70 of the CrPC in connection with a cognizable offence under the Prohibition Act. Acting on sustained efforts and credible inputs, the Sachin Police team tracked and arrested the absconding accused, bringing a long-pending case to a decisive conclusion.
