As of now, the new appointment for the post of Tamil Nadu DGP (Law & Order) has not been officially announced. However, sources indicate that DGP Venkataraman, currently heading the administrative wing, will be given additional charge as Acting DGP until further orders.

The retirement of these two distinguished officers marks the end of an era, with both being lauded for their contributions to law enforcement and public service in Tamil Nadu.
