Hyderabad: The Telangana government is taking strict measures to control the supply and consumption of narcotics. Police are laying a steel foot on drugs. Two special units for drug eradication have been set up under the Hyderabad Commissionerate Headquartered in Hyderabad, the two divisions will take strong action from now on. These were set up by the Narcotics Enforcement Division, Hyderabad under the name Narcotics Investigation Super Vision Wing. The Narcotics Enforcement Division is headed by a DCP level officer with two inspectors, four SIs, and 20 constables. An ACP, an Inspector, an SI, and six constables will be on duty in the Super Vision Wing of Narcotics Investigation. The state DGP Mr. Mahendar Reddy IPS will inaugurate these two divisions tomorrow.
