Shamshabad (Hyderabad): Shamshabad Zone SOT, Chevella police have checked the gang smuggling cannabis. Parashurama and Ankush Pandule from Pimpri, Maharashtra, were involved in a cannabis smuggling operation. As part of this, Umesh Gaikwad, Pradeep Kalangi, Dattasakat, Satish Vijay, Shinde, Vishal, and Ashok from Ahmednagar formed a gang. Some of them were drivers. If they bring marijuana, others will sell it to those who need it. As part of this, a special cabin was built for a lorry in Ahmednagar six months ago.
Subhan, who hails from the Khammam Agency area where cannabis is supplied by Sutradhars Parushuram and Ankush Pandey, contacted the languages. Purchased 400 kg of cannabis at the rate of Rs.2500. As part of the scheme, a lorry was handed over to them at the Khammam agency on February 22 and the cannabis was loaded. On the 27th he left for Maharashtra by a lorry with Bhadrachalam and Suryapeta. Some went as an escort in the car as before anyone could catch the lorry.
With advance information, Shamshabad SOT and Chevella police arrested them at Shabad Ex-Road. All but Subhan, Bhasha, and Ankush Pandule from the Khammam agency area were arrested and remanded. Police seized 400 kg of cannabis, Rs.15, 000 cash, a car, a lorry, nine phones, gold and silver rings, and chains. Superiors lauded the SOT and Chevelle police for being cunning in apprehending the gang.
