Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police arrested four members of a Naxal outfit based on the information they received, and seized four weapons and ammunition from their possession. The location where the arrest was made is near a stream in Gundala mandal on Wednesday morning. The name of the Naxal outfit is Janashakti CP (Chandra Pulla Reddy) Bata. When the police received a confidential piece of information that four members of the Naxal outfit were camping at a plantation abutting a local stream near Gundala they swiftly moved into action and arrested the accused. The police said that accuse were identified as Mokalla Sammaiah alias Nuthan aged 45 who is the State secretary of CP (Bata) Kumar squad, P Iythaiah aged 30 who is a dalam member, M Devaiah aged 22 who is a dalam member, and M Rambai aged 38 who is a dalam member. All the four belong to Bhadradri-Kothagudem district. The SP Mr.Sunil Dutt said four persons were arrested as they were planning to extort money from local contractors. He said the accused; Sammaiah had been involved in nine offences, including a double murder case, and several incidents of extortion. The weapons seized by the police included one 8 mm rifle, two SBBL, one Bharmar gun, in addition to 90 rounds of ammunition ]]>
