MOHALI: Police apprehended three persons in connection with the incident that occurred on Monday evening near Desumajra village at Kharar. According to the complaint lodged by the victim the accused Rajinder Singh and his accomplices Preet Singh and Manjeet Singh were arrested. Police said that on Monday, some persons employed for a food delivery app approached VInod Singh, a manager with fast food joint KFC, to take orders. Cordially, the manager asked them to wait outside the main restaurant till the food ordered were ready. Nevertheless, the accused sat in the chairs which were meant for customers. He reminded them stating that sometimes the customers complain about occupying the sitting space which affected them. Immediately, one of the accused started quarreling with Vinod. Later, in the evening while Vinod, a resident of Desumajra village, reached near his village the accused hindered on his way and thrashed him. Mr. Vinod succumbed to severe injuries and was admitted to Kharar civil hospital said the Assistant Sub-Inspector Avtar Singh. Following the incident, the victim lodged a complaint against the trio. They had been booked under the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code.]]>
